I had a difficult time painting this, so I have several versions of it. Finally I forced myself to conclude with this version which started out as a hand illustration but now is more digital... Just needed to finish and move on. Maybe I'll come back to it later.

Stay

Finally... I have a new blog post! I have been feverishly planning our three week road trip through the Southwest.  I'm surprised I was able to draw pictures of dogs rather than the all consuming Utah Arches! All summer I have been taking the time saving short cut of painting in photoshop rather than inking. I am getting rather addicted to how quickly I can complete things.
